Kosi also know as Koshi river which is one of the major tributaries of river Ganges/Ganga..
In year 2008 this river affected life of 2.7 million people..
This huge number itself justified its status of National calamity, urgent emergency measures were in place..
Help were pouring in Supaul, Araria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, parts of Khagaria and Bhagalpur.. which were the worst affected districts of Bihar.
Few courageous marathi students of GMC Miraj undertook the challenge to help our fellow citizen of Bihar in their effort to recuberate their loss of loved ones..
